Walter Bull and Son are a 5th Generation family jewellers established in 1815 originally. Our reputation as a fine jeweller in the Cotswolds means we have a constantly evolving collection of the finest quality modern and vintage jewellery. Our onsite workshop ensures that all our Vintage pieces are in the best condition despite their age. Your vintage pieces can also be restored and remodelled through our bespoke service at our Cirencester shop.
Vintage jewellery refers to pieces that are at least 20 to 30 years old, typically from the 1920s to the 1980s. Antique jewellery, on the other hand, is much older, typically over 100 years old.
Georgian (1714–1837): Handcrafted, nature-inspired designs; rare and highly collectible.
Victorian (1837–1901): Evolving styles from romantic to mourning and aesthetic designs.
Art Nouveau (1890–1910): Organic, nature-inspired, asymmetrical pieces with enamel work.

Our jewellery always comes with a full and detailed receipts with metal type, stones weights and sizes and any available provenance. Some gemstones will come with Laboratory reports and this is a service that can be available on request

All products will be have been checked and any restoration needed undertaken in our workshop so they will always be in the best possible condition.
If the ring is hallmarked that information will be displayed in the description and on the receipt. If not, then we will test the item and again display the results on both the description and the receipt

Use a flexible measuring tape: Wrap it around your wrist just below the wrist bone (where you'd normally wear a bracelet). If you don’t have a tape measure, use a strip of paper or a piece of string: Mark where the paper or string overlaps, then measure that length with a ruler
